General Information

The following general terms and conditions relate to the offering and sale of products on the website www.marmarcopenhagen.com, which are owned and maintained by Dallas ApS, Tirsbækvej 5, 2720 Vanløse, VAT No. 41271442

Ordering

MarMar Copenhagen's webshop is open 24 hours a day - 7 days a week. The website may be temporarily down due to maintenance. You must be 18 years old and have a valid credit card to shop on our website. If you are not yet 18 years old, you can get an adult to place the order for you.

 

How to shop at marmarcopenhagen.com:

  1. Find the product you like and choose your desired size, then click "Add to cart".
  2. Once the desired products have been added to your shopping cart, you can click on the shopping cart icon and the “View cart” button in the top right corner to see the contents of the cart or go directly to check out.
  3. Continue the purchase process by clicking "Checkout", where you can fill in your contact information such as name, delivery address, etc.
  4. Make sure your delivery address is correct and select the desired shipping method.
  5. Once you have entered your credit card information, click "Review order" and you now have the opportunity one last time to check that all information is correct.
  6. Finally, click on the "Confirm purchase" button, and you have made a binding agreement to purchase the items you have selected.
  7. Once we have accepted your order, we will obtain an authorization from your credit card company for the amount on the order. We do not withdraw money from your card at this stage, but the amount might be reserved on your account. This is a normal process with banks and credit card companies. If your credit card is not authorized, your order will not be processed further, and we will contact you by email with further information.
  8. Immediately after you place your order, you will receive a confirmation by email, including the terms and conditions of your order. When we ship your order, the amount will be charged to your credit card.

 

Payment

We accept the following payment cards: Visa, American Express, MasterCard, Maestro and Union Pay. It is also possible to checkout with Union Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay.

In addition, Dutch customers can pay with iDEAL and Belgian customers can pay with Bancontact.

The payment will not be drawn from your card until your order leaves our warehouse.

We do not charge credit card fees. Please note that it is not possible for us to charge a higher amount than the one approved by you.

 

Shipping and delivery

Orders will usually be shipped from our warehouse within 1-2 working days - from the time we receive your order in the system (pls. note, during sale periods the delivery time may be longer). However, all customers who pay by credit card will be subject to a validation, and MarMar Copenhagen reserves the right to postpone the delivery of an order if we believe that additional security checks are needed. Depending on the country and chosen delivery method, it may take from 1 to 5 days before you will receive your package once it has left our warehouse.

Europe: The shipping costs depend on the delivery country and your total purchase amount. The exact shipping costs will be informed upon checkout. However, the shipping costs will be approx. 8-30 EUR. European orders are sent with DHL, Bring and local carriers. Delivery time depends on recipient country and shipping method.

Rest of the world: For all orders outside Europe, shipping costs depend on the country of shipment and your total purchase amount. The exact shipping costs will be informed upon checkout. However, the shipping costs will be approx. 20-60 EUR. Orders are shipped with DHL Express and delivery time depends on recipient country and shipping method.

Notice regarding shipping to UK: We are currently not shipping orders to UK.

You will receive an email with shipping information when your package is on its way (sender name: Coolrunner, Homerunner, Bring, DHL, DHL Express or local carriers). MarMar Copenhagen cannot be held responsible for delays during delivery. The carrier is responsible.

Please note that, depending on your order and delivery country, you will be liable to pay local taxes and duties receipt of your package for which MarMar Copenhagen cannot be held responsible for. The refusal to pay such fees will cause a full cancellation of the order. Transportation costs and custom clearance costs associated with a cancellation will be deducted from the total amount refunded to you. Countries where this applies is for example Norway, US, Switzerland and Israel.

 

Cancellation

Unfortunately, MarMar Copenhagen only has the option to make changes or cancel your order if it has not yet been packed and shipped from our warehouse. If you wish to make changes to your order or cancel it, please contact us as soon as possible by email or phone:

Right of withdrawal

We accept returns within 30 days after receipt of your order. If you wish to return your purchase, please notify us by email within the 30 days. Please send us an email at shop@marmar.dk.

Once MarMar Copenhagen has been notified that you want to cancel your purchase, you have 14 days to send the item(s) back to us.

You cannot regret the purchase by refusing to receive the order without notifying us at the same time.

Please note that we do not refund shipping costs if you regret parts of your purchase.

 

Cancelling part of the purchase

If you have bought more than one item from us, you may return one or several items, even if they were bought in a single order. Please note that only part of the freight charges will be refunded.

Some goods cannot be returned by normal post. This applies to for example very large orders. The cost of returning these goods is expected to amount to maximum 75 EUR.

 

Return

Once MarMar Copenhagen has been notified that you want to cancel your purchase, you have 14 days to send the item(s) back to us.

For some countries we offer digital returns through our return portal and for other countries shipping costs and any other expenses associated with the return must be booked and paid by the customer.

Replacement

If you wish to exchange an item to a different size, color or style, please place a new order on our webshop. Please send back the item you do not want to keep, by following the instructions stated above.

 

The state of the article when you return it

If the value of the article is reduced, and the reason it that you have used it in any way beyond what was necessary to check the type and properties of the article and how it works, then only part of the purchase sum can be refunded to you. The amount that can be refunded depends on the saleable value of the article, and in certain cases this may mean that only the freight charges can be refunded.

We recommend that you return the article in this original packaging. If the original packaging is missing, it may reduce the value of the article.

 

Refund

As soon as we have received and accepted the returned items, the refund will be issued. Please note the refund will be credited to the credit card originally used for purchase of the items, minus import taxes or import duties incurred, if any. The original shipping charges will not be refunded unless the entire order is returned.

Please note that it can take up to 10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

We may hold back the payment until we have received the article, unless you send documentation that you have returned it.

 

Right to make complaints

When you trade with us as a consumer, the Danish Sale of Goods Act applies. This means that you entitled to give notice of defects for a period of 24 months.

We want all our customers to receive high quality products. Should you unexpectedly receive a product that does not live up to your expectations, you are welcome to contact us.

If your order has been placed on our website marmarcopenhagen.com, please submit your complaint via this link. Your case will be processed within a few business days.

If your product was purchased in a store or online from one of our retailers, please contact the place of purchase and they will help with a solution to the problem.

If your complaint is justified, it means that you can either have the item repaired, exchanged, the money back or a reduction in the price, depending on the specific situation.

You must file a complaint within a reasonable time after you have discovered the error. If you complain within two months after the error is discovered, the complaint will always be timely.

If a refund is justified, you will receive the refund no later than 14 days after we have approved the complaint. If the complaint is justified, and you have sent us the item, we will refund your freight costs (within reason). The item must always be retuned in suitable packaging. Remember also to obtain a receipt for dispatch, so that we can pay back your freight costs.

The right to complain: the product you want to make a complaint about must have cost a minimum of DKK 1.110,- and a maximum of DKK 100.000,-. For complaints about clothes and shoes, however, the price must have been at least DKK 720,-. Please note it will cost a fee to have the complaint processed.

Privacy Policy

We treat your personal data confidentially. Please read our Personal Policy, which explains how we use the personal information you provide in connection with ordering procedures and your general use of the website.

We need the following information when you shop with us: name, address, telephone number and email address.

We register and pass on the personal information that is necessary to be able to deliver the item to you. The personal information is registered with Dallas ApS and stored for five years, after which the information is deleted.

We also collaborate with several other companies that store and process data. Companies process information solely on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes. We only work with data processors in the EU or in countries that can provide your information with adequate protection. The data responsible for marmarcopenhagen.com is Dallas ApS.

You have the right to be informed of what information we process about you. If you believe that the information is inaccurate, you have the right to have it corrected. In some cases, we have a duty to delete your personal data if you request it. It can e.g. be if your data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which we were to use it. You can also contact us if you believe that your personal data is being processed in violation of the law. You can write to us at mail shop@marmar.dk.

 

Trademark and copyright

All product designs, product names and content on marmarcopenhagen.com are protected by international copyright and trademark laws. You are not permitted to use any product designs, product names or trademarks presented on this site without the prior written permission of MarMar Copenhagen (web). These terms and conditions are subject to Danish law and any dispute regarding this website, its services or these terms and conditions must be settled by courts in Denmark.
