Rainwear Fleece Details

MarMar Copenhagen Rainwear Fleece are fully lined with warm fleece, keeping your child warm and dry in all kinds of autumn weather.

Our rainwear is lightweight, and the seams are welded and taped to make sure that not even a drop of rain will pass through.

The fabric surface is PU coated which makes it 100% waterproof up to 8.000 mm and keeps the wind away. The fabric does not have any kind of surface spray and is fluor free. This garment is certified according to Oeko-tex® Standard 100, which means it has been tested for harmful substances.

Danish Design

Our Rainwear Fleece is designed with many practical features. It doesn’t just keep your child dry, but also warm. We have chosen a fabric that is lightweight and therefore comfortable. The knitted trimming around the inside of the collar is soft and comfortable as well as the fleece trim on the inside of the elastic cuff.

YKK zipper and snap buttons ensure jackets close securely.

We have also added a name and address label inside every piece.

 

Waterproof

The outer fabric is PU coated allowing the fabric to be waterproof to 8.000 mm. This also makes the garment windproof. All the seams are welded and even taped to prevent rain from getting inside the garment.

 

Long-lasting

In every detail, we strive to make our rainwear durable and long lasting. This is an integral part of our sustainable philosophy. We want it to go from child to child and still look its best.

 

Testing for harmful substances

We test the water resistance and welded seams for their performance. The chemical test list includes among other chemicals; fluorocarbons with a special focus on PFOS / PFOA, ASO dyes, heavy metals and phthalates.

All our rainwear lives up to the criteria in Oeko-tex® standard 100.

 

How to care

The fabric will stay 100% waterproof throughout its lifecycle. To preserve our environment, do not wash this rainwear unnecessarily. Light smudge will easily come off with a damp cloth. Because of the PU finish on this garment, it is not necessary to apply any kind of protectant spray.
